Supervisory Board
He was born on September 19, 1958, in Vlasotince. He earned the title of Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Aerospace Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. He defended his master’s thesis in the field of aeronautics in 1991, and obtained his PhD in Technical Sciences in 1997 at the same faculty.
He built his distinguished scientific and academic career at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, where he is currently a full professor in the narrow scientific field of aeronautics. From October 2017 to October 2021, over the course of two terms, he successfully served as Head of the Department of Aeronautics, which includes two academic modules, one of which—the Mechanical Engineering and Information Technologies Module—was founded by Professor Mitrović himself.
Throughout his work, he has been especially dedicated to the continuous improvement of the quality of teaching and scientific activities, both within his home department and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as a whole. He further confirmed his professional engagement as Head of the Aeronautics Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, while at the same time heading the Aerotechnics Laboratory – the “Miroslav Nenadović” Wind Tunnel, which houses the largest university wind tunnel in Europe.
He is recognized as a leading expert in the fields of experimental aerodynamics, aircraft mechanics and flight dynamics, as well as in object-oriented paradigms and the creation, development, and implementation of application software. He was elected President of the Supervisory Board of the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” at the session of the Belgrade City Assembly held on September 25, 2018.
He has further distinguished himself through cooperation with state authorities and international institutions. He is an expert in accident investigation at the Center for Investigation of Accidents and Serious Incidents of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and a long-standing associate of the world’s largest insurance company, LLOYD. In addition, he leads and participates in numerous court expert assessments concerning aircraft damage.
He is the author of scientific monographs of international significance, editor of thematic collections, and author of dozens of scientific papers published in leading international and national journals. As Director of the Alumni Foundation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, he provided strong support to young engineers in their professional affirmation, the development of entrepreneurial initiatives, and integration into the professional engineering community.
He was awarded the Gold Medal for Merits by decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia in 2021 for outstanding contributions to the Republic of Serbia and its youth in the fields of education and industrial development. He is fluent in English and French.
He was born on May 22, 1967. He earned the title of Graduate Traffic Engineer at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade, in the department of road traffic and safety.
He built his distinguished career through significant positions in the public sector, state administration, and business. He began his professional career in 1994 at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Belgrade as an expert associate at the Department of Traffic Safety. From 1996 to 2004, he served as Director of Foreign Trade and Marketing at “Beohemija” d.o.o. Belgrade. From 2004 to 2005, he was Head of the Administration for Joint Services of the Republican Bodies of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. He served as Secretary for Transport of the City Administration of the City of Belgrade from 2005 to 2008.
He continued his professional engagement at the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia,” where from 2009 to 2011 he was Adviser to the Director and Coordinator for Standard and Quality Affairs, and then, until 2014, Director of the Sector for Traffic Management Information Systems. Since 2014, he has held the position of Executive Director of the Sector for Traffic Management Information Systems at the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia.”
He was elected a member of the Supervisory Board of the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” at the session of the Belgrade City Assembly held on December 26, 2026.
He further distinguished his knowledge and experience through leadership in important bodies, serving as President of the Council of the Republic Directorate for Roads from 2004 to 2006, as well as President of the Management Board of the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” from 2006 to 2008. He has been a certified court expert in traffic since 1995. He has been a member of the Expert Working Group for Traffic Safety and Improvement of Road Infrastructure under the Body for Traffic Safety Coordination since 2014, as well as a member of the Working Group for Cooperation on the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Project (NSDI) since 2012.
He participated in the preparation of professional papers, studies, reports, and projects in the field of traffic safety. He is the author of the handbook “Guide for Drivers through the New Traffic Safety Law” and a professional associate in the preparation of the “Multimedia Traffic Primer.”

Director
He was born on March 15, 1975, in Belgrade. He holds a degree in law and a degree in international management. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, and also completed master’s academic studies at the Faculty of Engineering International Management. He enrolled in doctoral studies at the European University in Belgrade.
He began his professional career in local self-government, where from 2000 to 2004 he served as Deputy President of the Municipality of Zemun and as a councilor in the Zemun Municipal Assembly, with a primary focus on sports and youth, refugee and social issues, and relations with religious communities. From 2004 to 2008, he was a member of the City Council of the City of Belgrade in charge of sports and youth, after which he served as a councilor in the Belgrade City Assembly until 2013. From November 2013 to April 2014, he was a member of the Interim Authority of the City of Belgrade. He served as Deputy Mayor of Belgrade from 2014 to 2018, after which he was Assistant Mayor until June 2022.
In August 2022, he was appointed Acting Director of the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train.”

Executive Directors
She was born on June 24, 1975, in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, specializing in commercial law. She completed her secondary education at the Third Belgrade Gymnasium.
She began her professional career in the education system, working as a secretary at the primary schools “Svetozar Miletić,” “Branko Radičević,” and “Sava Šumanović” (2008–2014). After that, she continued her career in the City Administration of the City of Belgrade as Assistant Secretary of the Secretariat for Agriculture. From 2014 to 2015, she performed the duties of Assistant Director of the Agriculture Administration within the Secretariat for Agriculture. From 2015 to 2017, she was Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat for Economy, and after that Assistant Secretary of the same secretariat until 2018.
She was elected Executive Director for Legal, Human Resources, Property, and General Affairs at the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” on December 5, 2018.
She further distinguished her knowledge and skills by passing the state professional examination, the school secretary examination, the bar examination, and the notarial examination.
She participated as a lecturer in numerous seminars and forums, such as “Subsidies in Agriculture – Subsidies for Economic Development” in 2015, “Registration of Agricultural Holdings, Incentives in Agriculture” in 2015, “Information to the Goal / Knowledge to the Goal” in 2015 and 2017, “Entrepreneurial Support in the Rural Area of Belgrade” in 2016, “Program of Support Measures for Agricultural Policy and Rural Development Policy of the City of Belgrade” in 2016 and 2017, “Seminar for Farmers in Jakovo” in 2017, “Why Become an Entrepreneur” in 2017, “Organization of Agricultural Production” in 2017, “Serbia as an Organic Country” in 2017, and others.

He was born on November 9, 1975, in Belgrade. He earned the title of Graduate Mechanical Engineer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, in the Department of Industrial Engineering. He had previously completed his education at Zemun Gymnasium, in the natural sciences and mathematics track.
He began his professional career at Belgrade Arena, where from 2007 to 2013 he worked as Chief Engineer for Programs and Maintenance, and then from 2013 to 2020 served as Technical Director. During this period, he managed the technical maintenance of the complex and participated in the technical organization of major events such as Eurovision 2008, the Serbia–France Davis Cup Final in 2010, the European Handball Championships in 2012 and 2013, the OSCE Ministerial Council in 2015, the European Water Polo Championship in 2016, UEFA Futsal Euro 2016, the European Athletics Championships in 2017, the Basketball Final Four in 2018, as well as many other sporting, cultural, and entertainment events.
In September 2020, he joined the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” as Director of the Mechanical Affairs Sector, and in April 2023 he was elected Executive Director for Electrical and Mechanical Affairs.
He further distinguished his knowledge and skills by holding an IKS license as a responsible designer in thermotechnics, thermal power engineering, process engineering, and gas engineering, as well as certifications in risk assessment for the protection of persons, property, and business operations, and in the field of fire protection. He speaks English.
He was born on July 12, 1977, in Belgrade. He earned the title of Graduate Engineer of Railway Transport at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade.
He began his professional career in the railway sector, where over the course of two decades he has held a number of responsible positions. He served as Director of the Management System Center of the Zemun technical-passenger station in the company “Srbija Voz” A.D., Executive Director for Transport and authorized legal representative in the company “Transagent Operator,” and Director of the Transport Sector in the companies “Enna Transport” and “Eurorail Logistics” d.o.o. Belgrade.
In addition, he held managerial and operational positions within “Železnice Srbije” A.D. and its legal successor “Infrastruktura železnice Srbije” A.D., where, among other roles, he headed the central operations department and the Safety Management System (SMS) Department, served as Head of the Infrastructure Section of the Belgrade railway junction, Head of the Beograd Ranžirna and Rakovica stations, as well as Assistant Head of Beograd Peron station.
He participated in the investigation of serious accidents and incidents as a member of the Major Commission for the Investigation of Accidents and Incidents. He has extensive experience in passenger and freight transport, station management, and safety systems.
He was elected Executive Director for Transport at the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” on August 5, 2025.
He further distinguished his knowledge and skills by passing the professional examination for the transport profession in the field of management and supervision of transport processes. He also participated in the preparation and implementation of numerous professional and project tasks, such as the analysis of ticket office operations and the design of signaling and safety devices at Resnik station, the examination of the justification for introducing suburban passenger transport, as well as the organization and technology of marshalling yard operations.
He attended a number of professional training programs, including training in the basic principles of modern management. He was also a lecturer at the Secondary Railway School. He is a member of the Management Board of the Society of Graduate Railway Transport Engineers of Serbia (DIŽS). He speaks English.
He was born on March 30, 1992, in Berane. He earned the title of Master Civil Engineer in the field of roads, railways, and airports at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade. He had previously graduated from the Tenth Belgrade Gymnasium “Mihajlo Pupin,” and in 2020 he also completed specialist studies in energy efficiency and building maintenance at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.
He began his professional career in 2017 at the Public Enterprise Directorate for Construction Land and Development of Belgrade as an expert associate for the planning and design of traffic infrastructure in the Sector for Program and Preparation. In December 2018, he joined the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” as an independent engineer, after which he became Head of the Service for Civil Works and later Head of the Service for Linear Infrastructure.
He was elected Executive Director for Infrastructure at the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” on May 1, 2022.
He further distinguished his knowledge and skills through participation in numerous seminars and professional development programs, such as the 12th National Conference on Transport Infrastructure organized by the Department of Roads, Airports, and Railways of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Sofia University, the International Symposium on the Innovative Development of Metro Systems organized by the International Center for Research on Tunnels and Underground Structures, a workshop on claims, disputes, and arbitration under FIDIC contracts organized by the National FIDIC Association in Serbia – ACES, as well as training in the use of various engineering software packages such as QGIS, Civil 3D, and others. He speaks English.
He was born on April 24, 1960, in Istok. He earned the title of Graduate Economist at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, in the Department of Business Economics, specializing in organization and planning. He completed primary school and high school in Istok, Kosovo and Metohija.
He began his professional career as an inspector for economic crime in the Department for Economic Crime of the Crime Suppression Administration of the SUP of the City of Belgrade.
Over two terms, from 2004 to 2008 and from 2013 to 2017, he held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat for Finance of the City of Belgrade and Director of the Treasury of the City of Belgrade, as well as Assistant Head for Economy and Finance in the Municipality of Zemun from 2000 to 2004.
At the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade, he served as Secretary of the Center for Public-Private Partnership and Shareholding Development. At the Ministry of Finance, he worked on a World Bank and International Monetary Fund project as a strategic adviser for the privatization of the banking sector, as well as on the energy efficiency project for residential communities. He participated in drafting the proposed Law on Guarantee Schemes for the Economy and the Population. Within the Public Utility Company “Zelenilo Beograd,” he served as the management representative for quality, undertaking activities related to the introduction and recertification of ISO standards and the FUK system, as well as the implementation of e-standards and e-FUK solutions.
He was elected Executive Director for Economic, Financial, and Accounting Affairs at the Public Utility Company “Belgrade Metro and Train” on September 25, 2025.
He further distinguished his knowledge and skills as an expert in public-private partnership, participating in the preparation of project proposals and concession acts for the Republic, the City of Belgrade, and other cities and municipalities in Serbia. In addition, he took part in numerous city commissions for the implementation of projects such as the concession for the Vinča landfill, PPP for public transport, underground garages, urban furniture, and others.
He is a certified lecturer in project management and in the preparation of project proposals and concession acts in public-private partnerships, with a particular focus on local government budgeting, capital planning, and the application of PPP models in utility services such as integrated public transport, waste landfills, public lighting, and district heating systems. He speaks Russian and has a working knowledge of English and French.
