Feasibility Study for Line 2 of the Belgrade Metro between Mirijevo and Bežanija, Conceptual Solution, Conceptual Project with Environmental Impact Assessment Study for Line 2

The objective of the Conceptual Project and the Feasibility Study with the Environmental Impact Assessment Study is to provide a technical and functional definition of Line 2 (including the connection with Line 1 at Mirijevo and the technical and functional connection with Line 3 at Bežania). Line 2 from Bežanije to Mirijev has a total length of 24 kilometers, with 24 stations: Bežanija Depot, Marko Čelebonovića, KBC Bežanijska kosa, Zemun Railway Station, Zemun Novi Grad, Ugrinovačka, Filip Višnjić, Zemun Stadium, City Park, John Kennedy, Municipality of New Belgrade, Mercator, Arena, Blok 18, Savski trg L2, Slavija, Karađorđev Park, South Boulevard, Grcica Milenka, Vojislav Ilića, Pijaca Zvezdara, Mita Ružića, Ustanička, Mirijevo (L2).

The subject of this project is:

  • Previous studies: Conceptual solution for the extension of metro line 2 Zemun - Bežanija and for the extension of metro line 2 Surčinska - Bežanija, Study of transport requirements and prediction of the number of passengers.
  • Conceptual solution - IDR for the purposes of obtaining Location Conditions for metro line 2 with a common depot for lines 2 and 3 in Bežania;
  • Conceptual project for metro line 2 with a common depot for lines 2 and 3 in Bežania;
  • Feasibility study for metro line 2 with a common depot for lines 2 and 3 in Bežania;
  • Social analyzes and analyzes of environmental protection for the purpose of preparation of the Justification Study and drafting of the Study on Environmental Impact Assessment;
  • Technical specifications and requirements that will be included in the Terms of Reference for the further stages of development of the metro line 2 project: Project for construction permit, Project for execution and construction of infrastructure and systems.
