At the 293rd session of the Committee for Plans of the Belgrade City Assembly, a decision was made that the General Regulation Plan for the second metro line should be developed in stages and that the first stage should include the part from the Bežanija depot to the Mercator station.
The plan was adopted in December 2023 and published in the Official Gazette of the City of Belgrade No. 105 of December 18, 2023. year.
