The aim of this Study is to analyze the existing condition of buildings and engineering facilities within the zone of geotechnical influence of the first phase of Line 1 of the metro. Based on the assessment of the existing state of buildings and engineering facilities, their inherent sensitivity to the impacts of the construction of tunnel sections, stations and the accompanying metro infrastructure will be determined. The analysis will serve to apply the most up-to-date construction mitigation methods. The main cause of potential damage to buildings and engineering facilities is movement in the ground caused by: the passage of the "TVM" machine (Tunnel Boring Machine), work on excavating stations, supporting structures (vertical openings for ventilation and evacuation) and sections in the "Cut&Cover" excavation, possible changes in the groundwater level during construction, as well as other causes caused by driving piles, soil compaction, etc. The objectives of recording the existing condition of buildings and structures are as follows:
- Interior and exterior inspection of existing buildings and engineering facilities within the GZU (Geotechnical Zone of Influence)
- Checking and assessing the condition of existing buildings and engineering facilities within the GZU in order to define their inherent sensitivity in terms of soil deformation
- Checking and assessing the condition of existing buildings and engineering facilities within the GZU in order to define their inherent sensitivity to vibrations. This Study refers to buildings and engineering structures in a broad sense and includes the following:
-All types of buildings (houses, buildings, skyscrapers, historical monuments, etc.) and their immediate surroundings
-Underground structures such as ventilation shafts, garages, underground pedestrian passages, etc.
-Bridges, viaducts, etc.
