For the purposes of developing the Conceptual Project of the second phase of the Belgrade Metro Line 1, an Elaboration on the engineering, geological and geotechnical construction conditions was prepared. The aforementioned report presents the results of the research based on the data obtained from laboratory tests of soil and rock samples and field tests from exploratory boreholes that were carried out along the route at locations where it was necessary to more precisely determine the lithological composition and distribution of the so-called marl layers. "Višnjički clays" M22 and younger quaternary layers represented by deluvial-proluvial layers. The goal is to define in more detail the state and properties of the terrain and rock masses, based on which the geotechnical conditions and recommendations for the construction of future metro lines will be defined. It was also necessary to more accurately determine the extent of the sandy and gravelly layers of the bed of Mirijevski Potok. The preparation of the Elaborate is based on the existing engineering-geological and geotechnical documentation, the results of which will be supplemented by the results of new control surveys.
