The subject of this Study refers to the first phase of the construction of Line 1 of the Belgrade Metro, from the Železnik station to the Karaburma station, in a length of 16.7 km, on which 16 stations will be built. The general objectives of the Study are to provide high-quality information regarding the underground water regime, necessary for the formation of a contract with the contractor (which also includes the preparation of technical documentation for several stages of design), based on the technical solution for the construction of the metro from the Conceptual Project of Line 1 ("Egis-rail" 2021) and the results of previous geological and hydrogeological investigations. The specific goals of the Study are to obtain, based on numerical modeling for different hydrological conditions, the necessary elements for the purposes of designing and dimensioning the elements of protecting buildings (tunnel sections and stations) from groundwater, as well as to assess the impact of the impact on the construction of future buildings on the state of the groundwater regime in the wider area of the route of Phase I of Metro Line 1.
