The purpose and goal of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the planned two-line metro corridor is to identify and describe the direct and indirect impacts of the planned activities or measures on various aspects of the environment. It should also enable a comprehensive assessment of these impacts on human health and the environment, i.e. to include environmental and resource management issues to minimize negative impacts.
