The main goal of the study was to use the existing information base and databases available to the city, to carry out traffic research and create a database on traffic requirements, capacities of parts of the network, movements of goods and passengers in public and individual traffic, vehicle flows, speeds, temporal flow irregularities and other indicators of the state of the city's traffic system.
The databases formed in this way were the basis for updating the existing Transport Model of Belgrade, using the PTV VISION platform, and the updated model was, on the other hand, the input data for updating the Traffic Master Plan.
