On the occasion of the jubilee of 65 years of existence and successful work of the Mining Institute d.o.o. Belgrade, JKP "Belgrade metro and train" Belgrade received a plaque as a sign of gratitude for many years of successful cooperation. The ceremony was held on Friday, September 26, 2025, and the recognition was received on behalf of PUK "Beogradski metro i voz" Belgrade by Mr. d. director, Andreja Mladenović, which further emphasized our work with this renowned institution.
By awarding the plaque, the Mining Institute, as a leading scientific and research institution in the field of mining in Serbia and the region, emphasized the importance of connecting with partners who participate in the development of key infrastructure projects. The plaque received by a total of 20 relevant institutions and companies in the field of mining and geology, among which are the Ministry of Mining and Energy, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Electric Power Company of Serbia and others, is a recognition for the past cooperation with this institute, but also an incentive to continue joint activities with the use of modern technological solutions.
The Mining Institute, founded in 1960, has been successfully combining scientific research and practical application for more than six decades, implementing thousands of studies and projects that significantly improved production and technological processes, safety and environmental standards in the field of mining. Today, the institute represents a modern and innovative institution, recognized for its expertise in the professional public on the domestic scene, but also outside the borders of our country, on the international level.
For JKP "Beogradski metro i voz" Belgrade, this recognition is of particular importance because it confirms our company's commitment to cooperation with scientific and professional institutions and to the engagement of local knowledge and capacity, with the aim of realizing one of the most important infrastructure projects in our country. In this way, it is ensured that this project of strategic importance is based on the highest professional and technological standards, both in the fields of geology and tunnel construction, as well as in the domain of environmental protection and energy efficiency. The result of this synergy is of inestimable importance for the future of public transport and infrastructure development in Belgrade, but also in Serbia as a whole.
