The public utility company "Belgrade Metro and Train" Belgrade celebrated its glory, the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the premises of the company.
The celebration was celebrated in a festive atmosphere, with the presence of employees and guests, and on that occasion the parish priest cut the celebration cake, consecrated the premises of the company with a prayer and wished health to all employees and many new business successes.
The Director of JKP "Belgrade Metro and Train" Belgrade, Andreja Mladenović, greeted the attendees and took the opportunity to thank the employees of this company for their dedication and work in the past period.
Mladenović pointed out that the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which symbolizes tradition, faith and trust in a higher providence, has a special meaning for the company and the project being implemented. He emphasized that, in the spirit of this holiday, it is believed that the Blessed Virgin protects the city of Belgrade and all those who work in it to build the future, as well as that she protects one of the most important infrastructure projects of modern Belgrade, the construction of the metro, with her veil. That spiritual symbolism, as stated, represents additional strength and incentive to carry out this complex and responsible job conscientiously, patiently and for the benefit of all citizens.
The celebration of glory represents an opportunity to nurture spiritual and traditional values, as well as to further strengthen good interpersonal and business relations in the spirit of community.
