Today, the delegation of the PUC "Belgrade Metro and Train", together with representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, stayed in Beijing, where they visited the headquarters of the Power China company and attended an official meeting organized as part of a friendly visit, which confirms the continuous and successful cooperation on the implementation of the construction project of the Belgrade Metro, as well as the strong friendship that connects the two parties.
The delegation of PUC "Belgrade Metro and Train" was led by Director Andreja Mladenović, while Assistant Minister Milomir Đurović attended the meeting on behalf of the Ministry.
On that occasion, it was pointed out that the cooperation between the two parties is an example of mutual trust and partnership, with the emphasis that joint work and dedication achieve significant results on a project of strategic importance.
Director Mladenović thanked the hosts for organizing the visit and emphasized the importance of current activities:
"I would like to thank you for the exceptional organization of this visit, and especially for the preparation and realization of the beginning of the factory test of the technical correctness of TBM machines at the factory in Changsha, CRCHI."
This is very important news for Serbia, which has aroused great public interest and represents a strong and positive step forward - both for the project itself and for the start of construction works. I am convinced that this visit will have a significant impact on the further course and successful implementation of the project."
During the meeting, the previous results of cooperation were discussed, as well as further steps in the implementation of one of the most important infrastructure projects in the Republic of Serbia.
Assistant Minister Milomir Đurović said that he was grateful for the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality, stressing that such meetings represent an important step in further strengthening cooperation and improving relations between partners:
"In the previous period, significant progress was made in the area of infrastructure development, through joint projects that contribute to the modernization of traffic and overall economic progress. We continue to work on the implementation of priority activities, with the application of modern standards and financing models, in accordance with international practice. A special emphasis remains on further improvement of cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as on the creation of conditions for new investments in the area of infrastructure. I am convinced that joint efforts will result in concrete and long-term benefits."
The reason for the visit to the People's Republic of China was the ceremony for the beginning of the factory testing of the technical correctness of the TBM machines ("mole"), which will play a key role in the construction of the tunnels of the future metro system.
